Privacy Policy

Rosie Bright Sky (https://books.pivottoai.org) is a children's-book discovery storefront. This page explains, in plain terms, what information this site collects from visitors and how it is used. There is no user account or login on this site, and none is required to browse or search it.
What we collect
We do not use cookies, and we do not run any advertising or analytics scripts. We collect two things only:
- Outbound click events. When you click "View on Amazon" for a book, we record which book was clicked, which page/collection the click came from (if any), the referring page, and the time of the click, before redirecting you to that book's real Amazon listing. We do not record your IP address or full browser identifier with this click, and we do not tie it to you personally in any way. This is used only to understand which books and pages drive interest in our catalogue.
- Standard web server logs. Like virtually every website, our hosting infrastructure keeps short-lived technical logs of requests (such as the page requested, response status, and the requesting IP address) for operating, securing, and debugging the site. These logs are not stored in a database, are not combined with the click data above, and are not used for advertising or marketing.
Fonts and static assets
This site's typefaces are bundled and served directly from our own servers at build time, not fetched from Google or any third party when you visit — your browser never contacts a font provider to render this page. Some book cover images are loaded directly from Amazon's image servers; loading any image from a third-party server can expose standard request information (such as your IP address) to that server, the same as it would on any site that displays images hosted elsewhere.
Links to Amazon
Every book shown on this site links to its real, publicly listed Amazon product page. Once you follow that link, you are on Amazon's site and Amazon's own privacy policy and terms apply — we have no control over, and receive no data back from, what happens on Amazon's pages.
Children's privacy
This site is designed to help parents, caregivers, and educators discover children's books. We do not ask any visitor — adult or child — for a name, email address, date of birth, or any other personal information, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share visitor data with third parties. The limited click data described above is used internally only, to understand which parts of the catalogue readers engage with.
Changes to this policy
If what this site collects or how it is used changes, this page will be updated and the date above revised accordingly.
